Calvin Garwood concentrates his practice in oil and gas matters and title concerns.
He has been Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1996. Calvin has represented both major and independent energy companies in a variety of matters, including negotiating and documenting acquisitions and sales of oil and gas properties, due diligence, resolving oil and gas disputes, and preparation of all types of oil and gas agreements including oil and gas leases, division orders, pooling and unitization agreements, farmout agreements, and drilling, shut-in, division order, and acquisition title opinions.
Calvin is a graduate of the University of Houston School of Law and the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Life Fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation.
